Start & Finish: Balikpapan, East Kalimantan
Duration: 3 Days & 2 Nights
DAY 01
BALIKPAPAN – SAMARINDA – BONTANG – SANGATTA – KUTAI NATIONAL PARK (L, D)
Pick up service at 08.00 am and transfer overland to Sangatta via Bontang, arrive and transfer to Kutai National Park for about 9 hours. Continue by motorized canoe for about 20 minutes. Check in at Kutai NP, trekking at night after diner.
DAY 02
SANGATTA – KUTAI PARK & SURROUNDING (B, L, D)
Early morning we do trekking before breakfast to spot Orangutan activities in the morning when they leave their nest, walk deeper in the park and back to the ranger camp for lunch and take rest. Continue trek in the afternoon and night walking after diner to find nocturnal. Meals prepare and accommodation at ranger camp.
DAY 03
KUTAI PARK – SANGATTA – SAMARINDA – BALIKPAPAN (B, L)
After breakfast proceed leave the park and ride back to Sangatta before midday. Continue overland to Balikpapan, arrive in late afternoon. TOUR END.
