Day 01: Airport – Kumai – Tanjung Harapan Camp

We will pick you up at the airport or hotel in Pangkalan Bun, then drive to Kumai by airport taxi (approximately 20 minutes), passing several villages along the way. Upon arrival in Kumai, we boat up the river to explore mangrove forests, nipa palms, and wildlife along the Sekonyer River, while lunch is prepared on the boat. Prepare yourself for the first encounter with the orangutan. After trekking in the Borneo jungle, we will meet the giant ape at Tanjung Harapan Camp. Get your camera ready — not only during the feeding time, sometimes we could see wild orangutans swinging between the trees along the way. In the late afternoon, observe the Proboscis Monkey and other primates along the river.

Day 02: Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey

Breakfast on the boat at 07:30 AM, then boat up to Pondok Tanggui to witness the orangutan feeding around 09:00 AM. Upon arrival at Pondok Tanggui, we walk to the feeding area. Sail up the river to Camp Leakey. Walking into the jungle to see orangutans having some food. After that, back to your boat and continue down the river to find some monkeys such as Proboscis Monkey, Long-tailed Macaque, etc. After dinner, night trekking in Tanjung Harapan to find animals such as tarsius, tarantula, snake, and birds which are active at night time. Overnight on the boat.

Day 03: Jungle Trekking and Canoeing on Black River

After breakfast on the boat, trekking into the jungle through the rainforest, which takes around 2–3 hours, then take a canoe cruising on the Black River, trying to find some birds or other animals. Lunch on the boat. In the afternoon, visit a traditional village namely Tanjung Harapan for sightseeing and interaction with local people. In the late afternoon, sail down the river to find fireflies on nipa palms.

Day 04: House Boat – Long House – Airport

After breakfast, return to Kumai Jetty, then pick up by our team and transfer to Pasir Panjang Village to see the Long House, then transfer out to the airport. Tour end.
