Lamandau Reserve is an exclusive and limited-access conservation area dedicated to preserving the natural habitat and protecting the wildlife that lives within it. The reserve maintains strict visitor regulations to ensure the integrity of the ecosystem and the well-being of the animals.

One Day Tour Itinerary

To join this tour, you must be staying at a hotel in Pangkalan Bun or arriving at Iskandar Airport.
We will pick you up at 08:00 AM from your hotel or the airport.

From there, you will be transferred to Sega Village Pier, where you will board a traditional motorized wooden boat (getek) and cruise along the Arut River.

During the river journey, you may encounter wildlife such as:

Proboscis monkeys (long-nosed monkeys)
Long-tailed macaques
Various bird species
And, if you are lucky, even a freshwater crocodile

The river trip takes approximately 2 hours. Along the way, you will enter a unique black-water river, a natural sign that the surrounding forest remains pristine and well-protected — a safe habitat for wildlife.

Upon arrival at Siswoyo Post, you will take a short break. Mineral water, soft drinks or juice, and lunch boxes will be provided. Our guide will share the history and conservation story of Lamandau Wildlife Reserve.

At around 2:00 PM, we will begin a 25-minute forest walk to observe orangutans during their feeding time.

This is an exclusive tour experience:

No other tourists visit this location on the same day
Maximum of 7 visitors per day

After the forest visit, you will return to the motorized boat and cruise back along the black river, observing more wildlife along the riverbanks, including proboscis monkeys and other species.

The journey continues along the Arut River back to Sega Village Pier, followed by transfer to your hotel.
